Keeping Our Kids Safe. At all of our buildings, we have implemented some new security measures that all of us need to understand. Some of these may change the way we have done business in the past but are measures that needed to be put in place for the safety of our children. When you reflect on these measures I believe you will agree that they are truly in the best interest of all of our students.

First: When you enter the building you will learn that buzzer access is necessary. If you have business beyond the office we will need to buzz you for further access in the building. If you are here to pick up your child we are going to have you remain in the office until your child comes to the office

Second: Any adult in the building for a length of time, parent volunteer etc., must fill out an I Chat form. This provides us with the ability to do a background check on any adult that frequents our building. These forms are available in the office and on our website. Please stop in and fill one out in advance to an anticipated visit. Please continue to volunteer, we love having you here. The I Chat form will only need to be filled out once.

Third: Parents are no longer allowed in the lunchroom with their children. If you want to have lunch with your child we will find an alternate location for you to enjoy your time with your child.

Again all of these measures are done with one goal in mind, The Safety of Your Children. I’m positive we agree that this is a huge priority. Thank you for your understanding in this matter and please contact your child's building principal if you have further questions.
